Our Pastels

Mamut pastels were created by two artists and are the product of a long time search for the highly pure, bright, and soft pastel sticks possible.

Each one of them is carefully made by hand, using the traditional recipes of the ancient artisans of pastel. Mamut pastels are buttery, smooth to the surface, and have excellent covering power.

Soft but resistant, they are perfect for creating pastel work on different surfaces such as paper, sandpaper, wood, prepared grunts, and many more. Our pastels have a unique shape and consistency, and they are available in two sizes, which come in specifically sized wooden boxes.
