Mamut pastels featured in the Netherlands…
I was recently contacted by the dutch artist Loes Botman.
Loes is a wonderful Pastel painter whose work is largely focused on nature and especially on animals. Several examples of her pastels can be seen on the books “Natuur met Pastelrijt”, or “Hello baby animals, Who are you?” made for children, among others… All of them full of beautiful pastel drawings of birds, flowers, cats, dogs, foxes, owls and a large etc. An amazing way to approach nature and pastel art the little ones!
Loes wrote to me to let me know that the online Dutch art magazine "Kunstenaar.nl" published an article plus video in which Mamut pastels play a special role… Kunstenaar is the only Dutch-language digital magazine for artists. This Artist Magazine has instructive, inspiring and informative articles and videos about visual arts every two weeks.
In addition to the video appearing in the online art magazine at the beginning of June that mentions Mamut, an article has now appeared in a Dutch Art Magazine called "Atelier". Atelier is an art magazine that focuses on art lovers with a passion for drawing, painting and with a broad interest in art. Articles with an educational character, stories about art and artists and the drawing or painting competition that is held three times a year make Atelier an accessible and varied art magazine. Very happy to be featured in the Netherlands and to share it on my blog!!
