On July 30, 2025, President Trump issued an Executive Order, suspending the duty-free de minimis treatment for imports from all countries to address national emergencies related to illicit drug trafficking and trade deficits. The suspension will take effect starting August 29, 2025.

All shipments valued at $800 or less are no longer duty-free, regardless of their origin, and will be subject to full customs processing and applicable duties and fees, with limited exceptions for certain postal shipments. A key aspect is that the suspension of the duty-free de minimis treatment is a temporary measure and the rest of the Executive Order remains valid.

Every package coming from the EU and other countries will incur additional costs. Mamut Pastels is not responsible for these cost, but we are working on a way to facilitate this process with our clients. At this moment, products valued under 80 US$ have no restrictions or over cost.
